Ruth Fowler

On Sunday at 2:50 pm, February 21, 2021, Ruth Jane Fowler, a lifelong part of Bremen IN, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 94 years. Ruth was born on June 16, 1926 in Calumet City, IL to her parents, Howard and Florence (Harbert) Silvey. On November 24, 1943, she was married to her wonderful husband, a WWII survivor, Robert D. Fowler, Sr., who also has gone to be with Jesus our Lord, leaving earlier in 1986 after battling cancer. Ruth is survived by her older sister, Phyllis Boocher and younger brother, John Silvey. While married to Robert, and before his departure, they had 3 children, Janice, Phyllis, and Robert, Jr. and these 3 further blessed her with grandchildren; Cindy, Vince, Tammy, Curtis, George, Todd, Stephanie, Michelle, Laurie, Barbara, and Charlene. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 2021 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery.
