Ruth Eldora Wise, 90, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 7:54 pm, Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Signature Health Care of Bremen. Ruth was born on November 28, 1927, the daughter of Milo and Roberta (Grose) Kuntz. She married Gerald “Casey” Wise in 1947 and they celebrated 70 years of marriage before his passing on August 8, 2017. She is survived by two children, Marla Miller and Steve Wise, both of Bremen; two grandchildren, Tara (Parrish) Ton and Amanda Miller, both of Bremen; and five great grandchildren, Caselyn Miller, A.J. Ton, Samantha Ton, Casey Ton and Belle Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Lillie Hall, Kathryn Koontz and Theda Kuntz and brother, Tommy Kuntz. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm, Thursday, May 3, 2018 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm in the funeral home. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 Edison Road, Suite 122, Mishawaka, IN 46545 or Heartland Small Animal Rescue, P.O Box 6033, South Bend, IN 46660.
