Stanley "Jim" Dankert

Stanley James (Jim) Dankert, 77, of Rochester, passed away at 10:46 am, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care. Jim was born on November 25, 1943 in Kendallville, IN to Howard and Mary Joan (Shipe) Dankert. He is survived by his brother Roger (Deb) Dankert of Bremen; and his sister Cindy Kelly of Durham, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeff (Linda) Dankert. Jim was a musician and played lead guitar since the sixties. He was a pilot, cartoonist, and an avid train enthusiast. Per his wishes cremation will take place and services will be held at a later date.
