Thomas Walter

Thomas William Walter, 94, of Bremen, passed away at 1:25 am, Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Community Hospital of Bremen. Tom was born on December 31, 1927 in Bremen, the son of Dewey and Mildred (Bowser) Walter. On December 12, 1952, he married Dorothy Schlemmer. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; four children, Steven (LeeAnn) Walter, Jeanna Hall, James Walter and Dave (Annette) Walter, all of Bremen; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Josephine LaVine of Plymouth. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Wilkinson and brothers, Robert, Jack and Charles. Tom retired as an electrician for NIPSO in 1993. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 am, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am in the church and burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Marshall Co.
