Tim E. Cook

Went to meet Jesus on Friday October 9th 2026 in his home with Priscilla (his beloved dog) by his side. He was born on August 6th 1956 in Canton, Illinois to Bobby Eugene and Christine Lucille (Martin) Cook. He married Mary Kay (Lynch) Cook on March 12th 1983, they were married for 24 years. He was currently employed with Primetime a division of Forest River- as a service tech & parts runner for the last 11 years. He took great pride in the work he did there. Affectionately known as Tim, Dad, Daddy, Cookie, Timmy, Brother, Son, Grandpa, Papa Tim, Hero, Great Grandpa, Friend, Parts runner, Service tech, Husband, Neighbor, Father-in-law, Pops, -- he left a legacy defined by how deeply he was loved and the many roles he played in the lives of those around him. Tim was a man of many talents like farming, laborer, service tech/parts runner, garage mechanic, secret keeper. He loved working with his hands and tools. He was a gentle spirit with a quirky side who knew no stranger, would give the shirt off his back, worked harder than most and loved without limits. He was a simple man, he treasured people; family, friends and neighbors all of which were relationships he cherished above all else. He was very proud of his family members that have served and those that are serving in the military. His hobbies were; fishing, camping, maybe a little gambling, babysitting, garden tractor pulling, ice cream runs, spending time with family (grandchildren, daughters, etc) and friends, sitting on his front porch and driving his “Lil’ Rig” in Ram Country. Survivors include - 4 daughters: Tammy Joe Mark, Tera Joe Tener (Mark Ervin), Christine Marie Morris (January Morris) and Lisa Marie Cook (Melvin Yoder). Siblings: Twila (Gary) Metz, Trudy Cook, Roy (Audrey) Cook, Ron Cook (Randy Graverson). Mother-in-law: Doris Lynch. Grandchildren: Ali, Danielle, Distin (Monica), Dalton (Laura), Dillan, Mya, Carson and Abigail. Great Grandchildren: Paxton, Baeha, Emerson, Talon, Barrett, Bodhi, Beckham and Kyler. Preceded in death by: Mary Kay (Lynch) Cook - Wife, Ryan Allen Lynch-Cook – Son. Christine Lucille (Martin) Cook - Mother, Bobby Eugene Cook – Father, Walter Lynch – Father-in-law, Judith Lynch – Mother-in-law. Siblings: Ray Cook, Rex Cook, Tex Cook, Roxanna Cummins, Rohanda Karnes. Son-in-Law: Felty (JR) Borntrager
