Tracy Lee Adams, 57, who resided at Lake of the Woods, Bremen, Indiana, went to be with the Lord after a sudden illness on Friday, May 20, 2022. Tracy was born on May 1, 1965 in North Little Rock, Arkansas but grew up in the South Bend/Mishawaka area. Although he and his wife, Jessica, would make Lake of the Woods their home for the next 35 years. There they raised five children together. Tracy enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He was an especially skilled Catfisherman and loved to scout the woods when deer hunting season was approaching. Tracy had various occupations over his lifetime but is best known for his expert flooring skills as well as professional truck driving. In his garage, when determined enough, he could fix anything that had a motor. Tracy spent the last couple years in retirement, spending as much time as possible with his grandson, Max. Whom he had a very special bond with and they were rarely seen apart. Tracy is survived by his parents: Shirley and Kenny Gay. Brothers: Garland Adams and Scott Gay. Children: Nick (Mary Wojcik) DePalma, Romulus DePalma, Bill DePalma, Tony (Megan) Adams, Stephanie (Matt Clarkson) Adams, and Jessica (Matt) Bumgardner. Daughter in law Jacquie DePalma. Grandchildren: Alaynee, Nicky, Rommie (Lindsey), Sophia (Justin), Domenic, Alivia, David, Joey, Max, Mady, Bailey, and Addison. Great Grandchildren: Haydyn and Maison. As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and countless friends and neighbors. Tracy was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Jessica Adams, father Walter Dean Adams, niece LeeAnn Adams, as well as his Aunt June and Uncle Richard. A time of gathering to celebrate Tracy's life will be held at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen, Indiana, on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 2:00-5:00 pm.
