Virginia Rose Marvel, 91, of Wakarusa, passed away at 12:30 pm, Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Miller’s Merry Manor of Wakarusa. She was born on September 8, 1926 in Mishawaka, the daughter of George and Catherine Zimmer. She is survived by five children; Robert (Judy) Marvel, Jr. of Edwardsburg, Richard Marvel of Mishawaka, Randy (Shirley) Marvel of Niles, Jennifer (Steve) Webb of Edwardsburg and Ron (Leslie) Marvel of Osceola; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by a sister, Joan Clift of Mattawan, MI. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, who passed on November 17, 1998 and a sister, Betty Atkins. Virginia was a loving and caring homemaker, who loved her flower gardens and taking care of her yard. She enjoyed puzzles and games with her grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 am, Friday, January 26, 2018 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Michael Cramer officiating. Burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
