Wayne R. Keyser, 90, of Union, MI, passed away at 10:05 am, Monday, March 8, 2021 in Three Rivers Hospital. He was born on February 6, 1931 in Bremen, the eldest of six children to the late Richard “Rich” E. and Louise R. (Miller) Keyser. He graduated from Bremen High School in 1950. After high school, Wayne was drafted into the US Army from Bremen in 1951 serving in Korea until 1953. On August 18, 1973 he married Mary Mitchell. He worked at Dodge Manufacturing in Mishawaka later called Reliance Electric retiring in January of 1993. He was an inactive member of the Centreville United Methodist Church after moving to Long Lake permanently in 1998. Wayne enjoyed fishing in both summer and winter, mushrooming, playing cards with friends, and eating out with pontoon people. Wayne is survived by his wife Mary Keyser of Union, MI; children Richard (Tina) Keyser of Bremen, Paul (Sara) Keyser of Bremen, Cheryl (Richard) Housley of Elkhart, and Amy (Keith) Miller of Bremen; step children Brian, Greg, and Ronda all of Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; siblings Warren (Doris) Keyser of Beverly, OH and Jack (Sandra) Keyser of Culver, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Janette Korman, Loretta Shrock, and Dori Keyser. Visitation will be held from 1:00–2:00 pm, Friday, March 12, 2021 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Pastor Gary Hinkle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bremen Cemetery with full military honors.
