Wilfred “Bill” Wayne Anglin Jr., 63, of Nappanee, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, in the same city where he was born on November 20, 1961. Known to most as Bill, he was a kind, faithful, and hardworking man who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He spent much of his working life in Warsaw, where he was a machinist in the orthopedic industry. Bill took great pride in his craft, and those who worked with him knew him not only for his skill and precision, but also for his willingness to lend a hand and share his knowledge.
Bill’s greatest joys came from the life he built with his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Aurea (Roa) Anglin of Nappanee, and a proud father to his daughter, Carly (Shawn) Brown of Warsaw. He loved being grandpa to his granddaughters, Rooney and Nori Brown, who brought him endless joy and laughter and affectionately called him “Paw.” He was also a loving son to his mother, Frieda (Walters) Anglin, and a caring brother to his sisters, Linda Anglin of Syracuse and Cindy (Dick) Rogers of Nappanee. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Wayne Anglin Sr. and now rejoices with him in the presence of the Lord.
Bill had a strong passion for fixing and building things. He enjoyed farming and gardening, working on small engines, spending time outdoors and sharing an ice cream cone with his granddaughters. Above all else, he loved Jesus and encouraged others to do the same.
A private burial will take place at Stony Point Cemetery in Etna Green. Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 SR-331, Bremen, IN 46506, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Center for Hospice Care, 22579 Old US 20 E., Elkhart, IN 46516
