William Reed

William Mack Reed, Jr., 87, of Nappanee, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026 in Center for Hospice-Raclin House of Mishawaka. Bill was born on September18, 1938 in Collinwood, TN to William M. and Emma (Yates) Reed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Phyllis (Egyhazi) Reed; three children: David (Debra) Reed of South Bend, Daniel (Jeanne) Reed of Orlando, FL and Deborah (Andrew) Wolf of Bremen; seven grandchildren: Christopher (Katie) Kelly, Neil Kelly, Danielle (Eric) Coulter, Emily (Damon) Fleet, Hannah (Bradley) Elwell, Dustin (Abby) Wolf and Amber (Jason) Francis and five great grandchildren: Cosmo, Paisley, Magnolia, Brady and Mack.

Bill proudly served his country in the Air Force from 1959-1962. He was a member of Bremen Missionary Church. He loved playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm Friday, September 4, 2026 in Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home and burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bremen Missionary Church, 2958 Elm Rd., Bremen, IN 46506.
