Ruth N. Zechiel

Ruth Zechiel, 83, of Madison Township, passed away at 5:40PM on Monday, February 18, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa. She was born on March 30, 1924, in St. Joseph County, IN to Clayton R. & Esther B. (Wille) Kline.

She married Herbert L. Zechiel on October 10, 1943, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Woodland. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2007.

Ruth worked a variety of jobs but was mainly a loving mother and homemaker. She was a lifetime Madison Township area resident as well as a lifetime member St. Paul Lutheran Church, Woodland and a member of the American

2 sons: Lee (Susan) Zechiel, Gurnee, IL, Rev. Tim (Marie) Zechiel, Steeleville, IL, 7 grandchildren: Brian (Chris) Zechiel of Gurnee, IL, Darren (Niki) Zechiel of Spring, TX, Jennifer (Josh) Elledge of Holland, MI, Katie (Sean) Bradley of Provo, UT, Briana (Douglas) Schwartz of Decatur, IN, Charissa (Aaron) Volkert of Woodburn, IN,
Erin (Shaun) Seitz of Coldwater, OH, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 Sister: Evelyn (Hanley) Barker, Eugene, Oregon, 1 Sister-in-Law: Lois Kline of Mill Valley, CA. She was preceded in death by her Husband and Brother: Marvin Kline.

Services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008, at 11:00AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Woodland. Rev. Karl Brenner will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Woodland. Friends may call on Thursday, February 21, 2008, from 2-4PM & 6-8PM Thursday at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen, and one hour before the service at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Woodland.
