Lulla Huffer

Lulla Bell Huffer, 83, of Bremen, passed away at 5:20 pm, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in her home surrounded by family. Lulla was born in Porter County, IN to the union of Lawrence and Bertha (Moore) Heltzel. She lived most of her life in Bremen. She married Ronald “Tex” Huffer in June of 1962. He passed away on September 29, 1975. She is also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Lulla is survived by six children, Sandra (Rhidley) Edel of Bremen, Harold Krohn of Bremen, Marilyn (Tim) O’Connor of Bourbon, Houston (Fran) Huffer of Lapaz, Helena (Hampton Mullins) Huffer of Mentone, Reno (Dawn) Huffer of Tioga, ND, and step son, Charles (Pam) Huffer of Goshen. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, as well as, her sister, Margie Odiorne of Bremen. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW 8972 Auxiliary, 1750 W.
