Marjorie E. Holderman

Marjorie E. Holderman, 80, of Lapaz, went to be with the Lord at 4:50 am, Thursday, January 16, 2025 in The Waters of Wakarusa.  Marge was born on May 26, 1944 in Plymouth to the late Harley and Erma (Reaker) Carpenter.  On September 26, 1959, she married Louis N. Holderman.  He passed away on September 1, 2002. Marge is survived by three children: Rick Holderman of Lapaz, Brenda McDonald of Nappanee and Jane (Ken) Meeks of Silver Lake; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  She is also survived by two siblings: Max (Linda) King of Lapaz and Mary (Darrell) McIntire of Argos. She was a devoted member of Lakeville Church of God before its closing.  She was also an accomplished bowler. She was the president of the Steelworkers Union at Mutchlers Kitchen Cabinets of Nappanee for several years. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Thursday, January 23, 2025 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm, Thursday in the funeral home with burial to follow in Bremen Cemetery.
